Jovana is a prototypical power forward who can also play as a center.  As a power forward she is exceptionally quick and uses her speed to her advantage against her opposition. A born leader and calm player, she can motivate and lead her team and take responsibility in the most difficult situations to create plays and score.

 

On offense, she can create for herself, follow her teammates to correct their mistakes, reward them with quick passes and find better positions for them. She plays the pick and roll well and depending on the defense cuts to the basket or stays in a shooting position. Jovana has a very good shot from 4-5 metres and from the corners, elbow and free throw line. Skilful enough to not only pass out of the paint  l but also within the half court. Comfortable paying in a high and low post scenario and also in 1v1 opportunities.

 

On defense, Jovana is versatile enough to guard both taller and stronger opponents but also those that are shorter and faster than her. A vocal leader that can anchor the defense and help her teammates keep sight of their assignments. Jovana is a strong and determined rebounder who will box out every and anyone nearby.

 

As a player, she does everything she can to make her team win, a real team player with a cool, calm and brave temperament.
