Marilena is one of the top skilled and dynamic players in Greece. She has participated in all women’s national teams up to the age of 20 and played a critical role in advancing the Hellenic national team from the second category to the first one. Since then, she has participated in the NCAA Division 1 – MAAC- in the United States with and against players that have challenged her and made her a better player. She held the position of Captain this year and was involved in organizing, supporting and playing with the team.

On the court, she is a force to be reckoned with defensively, this is also evident by her ability to rebound both offensively and defensively. Her speed and the agility to respond are an asset for a tall player. Her body posture and her shooting ability provide her the potential to beat her opponent under the basket as well as post them up and score. She is an all-around player that can read the defense and create opportunities for her teammates. She has played basketball from the age of 5, which gives her immense experience and displays the passion she has for the game of basketball.

Marilena is a player with great potential and a promising future ahead of her in today’s generation of professional basketball players.
