Rachel Leggett is a physical, high-efficiency forward who plays with strong fundamentals and a team-first mentality. Although she may be undersized, she plays bigger than her height. She thrives in transition and excel at attacking downhill, using her ability to penetrate and score.

Defense has become a major focus of Rachel. What started as a natural strength has grown into a true passion, as she understands that the game begins on the defensive end. She takes pride in embracing that challenge every time she steps on the floor.

During her three years at the University of South Alabama, she was one of the team’s leading scorers and rebounders for two seasons. She brings leadership on the court and take pride in elevating the players around her. She is committed to being the hardest-working person in any gym.

After transferring to Troy, she adapted quickly, remained highly coachable, and made significant strides in her development as a player.
